Disappointed, although for some reason I just never thought we'd get him after he transferred to La Lumiere.

I've always thought if we'd get 2 from the group of Sisley, Mullins, Reibe, or Haralson I'd be satisfied.

My take. Disappointed! The thing is it doesn't hurt at all in the grand scheme! The game has changed! Iu is locked in this season with a really decent team on paper. If Woodson can coach these dudes and we have a really good season we will have the tools next season to be great via transfer portal and NIL! If we flop this season we are probably in a big hole. It's all on coach and staff! This is season is huge this miss is minor imo

Yep. NIL or the lack thereof is the primary reason he left Penn State. 

He would kill it here in recruiting with our budget and talent pool.

I tend to agree. He had Penn State very respectable. Stunk last year at ND.  Might stink again this year. He’s clearly not a miracle worker but the guy knows the game.  ND will be a curious follow, especially now with them getting our primary target out from under us.

They hosted two big men this past weekend, so it's likely one of them -- Tre Singleton and Tommy Ahneman.    Singleton is a PF (#84) and Ahneman is a C (#106).

Tommy Ahneman does have a CB for ND on 247. That prediction was made today.

Ahneman it is.  Rated as high. As 58 on some services.  This is the Crean #Movement class for Shrewsberry.

ND finished under .500 this year and we replaced our deadbeat coach.  Might be worth a call.

Wasn't he rumored to be getting like 70% of ND's NIL budget?

If true I'm not sure we'd be matching that. Plus I'm sure he's getting the keys to the offense on day 1.
