To summarize everything....No one knows. And anyone that says they know, are guessing or going off a gut feeling. Family is keeping it really tight lipped. As much as i hate it, i kind of do miss the days where everyone found out together when the announcement was made by player and family.

I think a source told him "IU". So he jumped on and put in a prediction. Then the source said "but that's just my guess, no concrete evidence", then he hopped back on to take it away immediately.

Actually, an NIL agent told Cassidy that it was IU for Haralson so he logged his pick. The agent then messaged back and said wait, I have to check on something and then ghosted Cassidy. I’m guessing Haralsons camp was upset it got out and made the agent tell Cassidy to “wait.”

The market is what the market is.  I don’t have any problems with the players getting paid, because the phat cats are getting paid much more. Just needs to make financial sense. 

Portal money vs freshman money is the debate to me. Much riskier gamble with the freshmen.

Mostly agree.  Romeo probably could've gotten $2M.  What a waste that would've been.

If you got the money, spend it. The optics of losing two high profile in-state guys (who you were in on long before anyone else) is worse than overpaying. Can overpay for Mullins and Haralson and still get a top portal big and potentially a PG if Rice leaves.

From Indiana’s perspective it’s not simply Wins and Losses.  They want to fill seats and create excitement.  That generates money.  In state 5 stars are coveted.

Fully agree.  Build a monster every year if financially sustainable.  Just need a winning roster at the end of it.

It’s certainly plausible but not sure why Cassidy would feel obligated to remove information that he feels is accurate at the request of the family? It’s his job to break stuff like this.

I think it’s more than likely that Cassidy’s source came back and said he got inaccurate information and that’s why it was removed.
