Not saying we get him.... but,

Cupps at PG, McNeeley at SF and Queen at PF would be a hell of a big three for young talent on next year's roster. Gallo and Sparks as the steady hands... If Gunn/Banks take the next step and Newton gets healthy... thats a pretty solid foundation for the roster. 

You have a good portal szn and 2024-2025 could really be something special. 

Just a few more days til Sunday and we can start talk about actual IUBB on the court again!

Agreed on your point though. We have seen that 1-3 good players is just enough to still lose a lot of games. Need to stack the talent to compete consistently at the high levels we want and expect. 

Having said that, I just don't get IU vibes from Queen. Hope I'm mistaken.

seems he is taking a real pause to think which at minimum does not suggest this is some Maryland slam dunk. 

A few pages ago we were talking NIL and I said Rob Cassidy and others have stated (which makes sense) that the top guys don’t care as much about NIL. Yes, you can’t be poor but not driving factor. That NIL matters more for portal guys. The top guys want to understand how you are going to develop them, your track record with development, your NBA connections/pedigree, how they will fit in your system (usage, role, ability to showcase), etc, etc.  

Will see. My gut and only my gut says he was a slight Maryland lean and any crack in that now has him finding it harder and harder to not just suit up with Liam. 

I’m gonna oversimplify it because I think this might be the case:

Three Monteverde kids committing over  a two week period. Newell yesterday, Flagg Friday or Monday, and Queen sometime next week. Space them out, let each kid have their couple of days in the sun.
