not to mention Kansas, UNC and UVA....and, above all, Gonzaga

Duke may not be what it once was by the time he steps on campus since this might be K's last year. UNC will need to have a good year this year as well or else they could be looking at not being what they once were. The others could maybe be a problem but there are problems he could see with them as well. IU will be in a good spot with him especially once that official visit happens.

Duke isn't just going to fall into the abyss when K retires. They have a lot of huge advantages which are going to keep them rolling for years to come. Prestigious school, NBA alumni and a great home environment. I like our odds against the rest of the schools on this list.

Don't like Dook getting the last visit- that seems to matter. Oh well, IU will get a shot, all you can ask for.

Maybe. It will also be interesting to see what his timeline is for committing. If he doesn't commit until close to signing day it might not be a huge factor.

That’s partly just a function that he scheduled Duke last, so it is the latest. But Duke is planning to have a lot of their big 2022 targets on campus that weekend, including Flip.

Same thing we are kind of doing June 15-16 with Flip and Justin Taylor visiting at the same time.

Samad Hines in a piece captioned Which Prospects Have Had a Stock Rising Spring Season --

Kyle Filipowski did not really have much buzz nationally coming into this grassroots season but has gained and earned so much attention this spring. The 6-foot-10 forward has a pro like game already and will have NBA personnel all over him from now on until the possible 2023 NBA Draft. Already at 6-foot-10, Kyle is an extremely skilled prospect. He holds a natural feel for the game, can handle the ball like a guard, has a very high IQ, highly versatile, rebounds at a high rate, makes his impact on the defensive end blocking or alternating shots, and able to hit perimeter shots as well. Filipowski already has the type of game bigs and/or forwards in the NBA have in today’s game. A stretch four type of forward that can play some three and possibly the five position if a team decides to go small. Miami, Wake Forest, Rutgers, Stanford, Syracuse, Indiana, and others have offered since March.
