This is why I think it has to be Brad!  Scott knows the fanbase, and I believe he is the only hire that the fanbase can agree on!  I wouldn't mind John as a stop gap hire, as long as they have a plan in place!

I still maintain an old JB is an upgrade over Archie. If that's how we play a longer interim game, I'm not mad about it. Gives us half a decade with some tutelage happening Ala Bo Ryan and then Greg Garland.

Beilein is my top guy because he will win and get the program stabilized.  I would take Beard but his offense is no better than what we seen with Archie.

Beilein is as close to a sure thing as you can get.  Yeah, he's old, but he brings back some credibility this program hasn't had......in a long time.

Indiana doesn’t need me as a fan, and that’s exactly what this hire would do for me. 
 

I don’t envy Dolson right now. Very few uniting hires out there.  But with money being a limited restriction you aim better and younger than JB.

Wouldn’t love this hire, but I wouldn’t hate it either. If we hire him it better be because we struck out on Drew, Musselman, Beard, etc., though.

I'll take John over Mussleman and Drew. At least we know John can win the B1G. 

 

I'm just worried about his thugs comment. Coaches can bring that up in recruiting. The NBA players literally quit on him as soon as that occured. 

It seems extremely risky to hire him. Especially with his age and his heart health. He's had two major surgeries I believe.

Yeah, it’s a bad hire.  Indiana knows this. He doesn’t have a job. If he were a serious target he’d be hired already.   There is a reason teams aren’t clamoring for him.  Why should Indiana?
