We have Leal and Galloway. If I could keep one player besides TJD or Armaan, it would be

Jordan Geronimo.

I tooootally agree with you. He’s one of my 4 guys that can carry this thing in the future (assuming TJD leaves). Let’s hope this wasn’t preemptive to anything...

Easily. I don’t  think there’s even an argument for anyone else except Lander. For a guy who liked to talk positionless and switchability, Archie created about as old school, position specific a roster as he could have. Geronimo’s pretty much the only exception.

BTW, everybody seemed to think Lander's tweet had to do with the possible naming of a new coach. Has anybody entertained the possibility that it could be a portend to his entering the portal?

Either that or him and ND Kendrick we’re actually happy about Thad Matta.

Brace yourselves--transfer portal is a way of life for ALL of college ball this year. Having a new coach will only exacerbate the issue.
The right coach though and we can get some great pieces could go either way. The thought of a bad shooting team losing its best shooter though isn't nice

This is why Mike Woodson may not be a good pick how can he get transfers if he has no connection to any of the kids who may be transferring. He may be great i don't know but the fact he has never recruited ever is concerning I know thats been discussed but were going to need some transfers this year to be competitive next season especially if Franklin leaves

He would have to find assistants that have connections and know how to recruit.

I think it will be hard to keep Jordan in Bloomington regardless of who the next coach is.

That's got Seton Hall or Rutgers written all over it! That is -- if players can transfer within the conference. Not sure what the rules are anymore.

I thought when he committed he said it was because he fell in love with Bloomington and the campus

It sounds like Jordan's parents are putting their foot down. I live on the East Coast. Most people here who follow college basketball think the IU basketball program is a total mess. Jordan's parents will likely push him to transfer to Rutgers.
