Uspshoosier Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Bring home Josh Pasternak. Kidding of course but if you want a former IU guy might as well go with the former manager that has his team dancing this year

It started back when we tattled on ourselves over a few phone calls. If they would’ve done what every other school does and stayed quiet Sampson would probably have hung another banner or two by now. Instead, we act like goody two shoes and our program is complete trash because of it. We do things the “right way” and get laughed out of the gym as a reward. Doing things the "right" way will get you nothing. Give me Pearl, Drew, Sampson - I don't care. They win. That's all that matters. That's why everyone LOVES Brad. He wins AND does it the right way. Coaches like that don't come along very often. thebigweave, HoosierTrav, BGleas and 5 others 8

I love everything about Oats. I know some think he hasn't proven enough. Not only do they play modern basketball on offense, they have the number one defense on Kenpom. He's extremely fiery on the sidelines and his personality would shine here. If we can't get Brad, I'd be ecstatic to get Oats. I think I've watched 75% of Bama's games this year just because they're so fun to watch. Sometimes you just get a feeling with coaches and I get that with him. Also, a senior he inherited that was the 148 recruit won SEC POY. But sure the issue is that Archie needs more time Bobman1 and BGleas 2

lillurk Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Wonder if a change is coming at Miami (FL)? Another interesting landing spot if Archie moves on.

IUHAHN81 Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Steven's- Yes Otherwise, let the players coach themselves. Tired of beating around the bush "wishing" for the right guy and hoping the lesser works out. ALASKA HOOSIER 1

I think he needs at least 5 years as the head man someplace bigger than IPFW before he sniffs a job at a school the size of Indiana with its expectations. It’s an unimaginable leap. I’d support Fife, like I would anyone for a few years. But I agree, the next coach needs Power 5 coaching experience. Fife should go get the Minnesota job or one like it for his first P5 gig.
