No it was not. Archie definitely didn’t land Langford out of luck because of what happened to Pitino at Louisville. There was a ton of money involved there. Indiana boosters were excited about the new coach and believed he would get IU up and running. That was perhaps the one time in Archie’s tenure I felt he truly weaponized the full weight of Indiana’s support system to land a dude we desperately needed. It’s unfortunate Langford played with a broken thumb his entire freshman season. It could’ve been a truly special year in spite of Archie’s coaching.

I can't argue against that, and get your point.  I am dreaming about getting bigger fish this go around.

Let's just hope we reached out to Brad Stevens, Jay Wright, Billy Donovan, Bill Self, Bruce Pearl or anyone else before we start talking about our plans to hire farther down the list a t coaches D, E, F, and G.

Some interesting Non - IU related coaching search tidbits. Well maybe IU related.......... 

Texas A&M AD has started lining up a short list, believes their is a chance that Buzz could be dipping after the season (kind of his MO when you look at his resume) 

2 New names for Nova , Malik Allen (idk) and Steven Pickell ? What does that mean for Collins he just staying at NW ? 

Many people believe UVA has Odom locked into a commitment as soon as VCU is done. Didn't mention this but if that's the case I would imagine NC State makes a strong push for Wade unfortunately
