Waiting for a Monday morning banger to hit.....once they start planning an announcement, the leaks should flow all over the place...too many additional people become involved with the planning, the prep and word gets out....

I absolutely have no idea who our next coach will be. But I do think this: No one coach will make entirely everyone happy (maybe not even BS), and while Dolson knows winning games is more important than winning the press conference, he also knows that getting as much of the fan base back into the fold as possible will be critical.

I just cannot imagine when the time comes for the presser, he's gonna say, "Hey everyone -- here's our new coach. We're really excited about him joining our department" -- and then trot out Brad Brownell. 

Brad Steven’s, Billy, or Jay Wright, or even Dusty May would make the fan base happy and unite the fans. Mike Woodson divided the fans clearly.

Kinda true a week out. But as we got close to the announcement day? Definitely not true, especially for Woodson.

• For the Woody hire, about three days before the hire @8bucks, a wonderful poster who never gets over his skis, had the hire nailed -- through Woodson family acquaintances I believe. He told me but didn't want the attribution or grief on the open board so I posted that the info came from a credible, anonymous source about three days before Woody was announced. There was a meltdown and a "how do YOU know more than the insiders" string of pushback, as there should have been. And then it happened.
• For Cig, if I remember correctly his name wasn't really mentioned until a day or two before he was announced. When his name was suddenly thrown into the mix @Lebowski started singing the praises really strongly, and pretty much everybody was then was a fan of his take (because he knows more football than many of us ever will). A day or two after the board had it as a strong possibility, the announcement came.

Can anyone confirm if Woodson has cleaned out his office yet? Paint crew needs to get in there and get us a fresh coat of paint after that stinky performance of a year.

Scott drew if you count him as a grandslam. Longshot but only one in that tier i can think of. this is more speculative based than intel based.

If Dolson has everything tight as a drum, any leaking would be more likely to come from the candidates side.  This makes sense.

I’m not sure of a grand slam, but Pearl, Few, Drew. I have no idea how realistic they are. Tier below that Beard, Wade, TJ, McDermott.
