How can people find out next week? It would have to be one of two things….an NBA person or a person who is in the NIT or worse.

Based on that logic.  Power conferences start their tourneys next week and selection Sunday is the following Sunday.  It has to be someone not going to a tourney, an assistant coach or an NBA person with that logic.

Yeah, but the NCAA Tournament still doesn't start until the following week.  So his statement still stands.

Otherwise next week implies 1. IU doesn’t make it— won’t know for 11 days, 2. Next guy either misses the tournament (Few(?), Collins, Drew(?), McCollum) OR isn’t a college coach.

I think the wind is blowing a different way on both fronts

Few will make it.  Drew will make it. McCollum should make it no matter what.

Hiring a non-big name and before the tournament starts would be disastrous imo. Means not even working on successful coach already in the tournament. Not a program ender but does NOT bode well for the future. Dunno.
