Dolson has gone out of his way to make sure people know he's not playing around and neither are the boosters. 

  • he made it a point to mention it only took 2 phone calls to raise the cash
  • he basically said he's working with a blank check for the new coach
  • he (possibly) leaked a $7M per year offer to Stevens

And just like that we start hearing names like Beard, Drew, and Matta possibly interested. 

This isn't just about restoring Indiana basketball. This is about Indiana University athletics flexing muscle period. It's why he locked up Allen.

We all have a lot of pride in our Hoosiers. Imagine how much Dolson has? Imagine how ticked off he was when the conference decided to change the rules at the last minute to keep IU out of the football conference championship?

This is an opportunity for Dolson and Co. to pull one over on Alabama, Arkansas, the national media, you name it.

He's the one sitting at the table with the fat stack of chips. Not a top job? Scott Dolson scoffs at the notion!!!

I thought no way in heck could Marquette compete financially with facilities and basketball stuff back when Garcia was down to IU and Marquette.  Then every National scout pointed out how their boosters just throw money at the program and how other basketball programs would kill for some of the stuff they have.   I dug a little myself and saw their facilities and they were impressive.  It will be interesting if he gets down to those 2 and it’s his choice what he ultimately does 

One thing they don't have a football program so all the boosters put their money to basketball.

Just caught Around the Horn bit on Porter Moser to Indiana.  
3 out of 4 panelists (the other didn't say either way) said he shouldn't leave for IU if offered and Loyola was a better job. 
Plaschke also said IU is no longer a blue blood and no one wants to go there anymore. lol
The barrage from national media continues
 
People still watch ESPN fir something other than games?
