IU would not be above that with him “retiring” in the NIL era if the coach they were after wasn’t still playing.  Us not having a public symbol of a coach harms us with the portal.

If Dolson fires Woodson and comes back with ******* Brad Brownell, we might as well drop NIL to a million for the basketball team and see what Cignetti can do for us in football with some more money.  I can't think of a less inspiring hire than that and Collins isn't too much above that IMO.

Crown doesn't start until March 31st.  Half our team will be in the portal by then.  We aren't playing in that.

If it came to it yes iu might announce day before portal opens for said reason. but correct me if im wrong the portal opens after the second round starts and iu isn't going that far

If Brownell took Indiana to the elite 8 last year and had them in the top 10 this year, how would you feel? I'm not saying I would be doing cartwheels for BB, I definitely would not, but if we're comparing Brownell, Collins, etc. You don't have to squint to see the case for Brownell the past 2 seasons.

To me weighing his options means waiting to see if Iowa is open and there is mutual interest. Im betting he sees that as a better fit for him just my opinion. 
 

If that’s the case Dolson needs to pivot to Will Wade as quickly as possible (personally I think he should anyway) . And get this thing wrapped up before the start of the tourney . 
 

if McCollum hasn’t said he’s 100 percent coming when the season is over by now than Iowa opening only complicates everything . Dolson needs to move on fast if that’s the case

Some new stupid tournament they are using Vegas as a backdrop to get teams. But I don't believe it starts until 3/31 so you will have all kinds of issues with kids transferring out, etc.
