Please lord let it be Will Wade with all the McCollum and Brownhole talk.  That to me would be a great hire beyond the Stevens/whoeverelseisntcoming list.  Beard and Wade were the best realistic coaches we could get IMO.

Dolson hiring a guy once under FBI investigation would be something

I haven't been able to keep up with the thread today, but from what I've read so far...

Venture a guess, a super high % of people would judge Crean's hiring / tenure as a failure. I find that thought provoking.

Of course he didn't have the success IU fans desire, to be sure... and it was definitely time to go...

Say what you will about there having been better hires available (though I seriously question how many of them were actually willing to step into the situation Crean dove into head first) ...gripes about administrations aside...

Championships and F4s are not "the standard" at IU. Haven't been for decades. That's the ambition. Gotta evolve into that.

Crean left the program better off than he found it. That's all you can realistically ask for in a hiring decision IMO.

After Archie and Woodson... we are in a similar position of needing someone who can do the same.

Adjusting my expectations for the hire accordingly and if it's a more established name I'll be very pleasantly surprised.

Still time to get on the Huss Buss...

And McCollum is not afraid of the big stage or picking fights on Twitter, lol

So ready for IUBB to be well coached again, whoever ends up on the sidelines

Was Brad just waiting for the Notre Dame season to end to remove all distractions? Seems like a reasonable thing to believe and conclude in the world that I’m currently living in. Let’s ride!

He didn't want his son to have to field questions about transferring.
