So I live in Eugene Oregon now and have a close friend with coach back in Bloomington. Coach just set me up with seats behind the bench for tonight's game. My friend just now had this conversation with coach.

Whoa interesting! I don't like your info but if it is the truth so be it. Thanks for sharing. Lots of things I would like your friend to ask coach woodson. Nothing about this search but alot about why it took fate and way to long to realize playing 2 bigs at the same time wasn't working. Also please get word not to go back to it again so we can win enough to get on the tournament! Thanks!

Yea.  As mad as Woody is right now, and I know he is being very difficult, Dolson really can’t afford to have him in the loop.  He would tell everyone, he doesn’t care, just like the poster’s friend.  Woody is probably conveying his best guess.

I like upper 40's, lower 50's for my ideal coach.  Most (all) of the coaches I listed fall in that category.  

Iowa may be a terrible job moving forward. Listening to a Michigan football podcast a few weeks back and they were saying IOWA NIL is in bad shape. They singed a bunch of contracts with players and then people didn’t donate. So 1 guy has been cutting checks to meet all the NIL deals through the end of the school year. Doesn’t sound like the type of situation that’s going to be a good place for any coach. NIL will go to football before basketball there as well.

I have not heard either is out. Have heard things picked up towards the end of last week and through the weekend. 

I believe Scott B heard this but it would be super surprising that Woodson would know what is going on. He has not made any friends in the building since his retirement. I spoke to one staff member recently who said they had not heard a single name since Feb. 13. But I don't think they are actively asking how the search is going.
