If we’re willing to throw $10M at Brad we should be willing to throw at least $8M at Lloyd.  But it’s not my money of course.

You've also got Lloyd's buyout to factor in, the original contract was 12m.

I wouldn't complain about that hire though.

Loyd just signed a new contract last February.  I can’t find any info on his buyout number but I believe it was 12M before the new contract.  Good coach but I am not seeing that one.  Some have said he is a NW guy through and through.

He feels like a potential Gonzaga replacement whenever Few retires

Anyone have a beat on any more intriguing flights out of and into the Bloomington area?
I didnt put a lot of stock in the Brad to IU talk, but the one thing that piqued my interest in the possibility was the flights around Boston and Bloomington in early February.
Since then has anyone been tracking flights? Not necessarily connected to Brad, but any interesting patterns anywhere else in the country? (I know with a search firm we wouldn't necessarily see flights into/out of Bloomington. And I know we may not be at the point where folks need to meet in person, but the fact that it seemed we had so many seemingly connected flights around Bloomington and Boston early and nothing anywhere of late seems interesting.)
I understand these flights don't necessarily portend anything, but they are good message board fodder.
Rumor has it a private jet came in from clemson south Carolina last evening and left early this am. I guess an unnamed man olin an orange shirt was spotted leaving dolsons house with a big manilla envelope

On the other hand he is currently in the desert 1,500 miles from rainy Washington state.  There ain’t a great bball job in the PNW and he seems willing to move around.

All I can find on his new buyout is it is “seven figures,” so at least it went down to some extent.  Agree he won’t be cheap.

I don’t think there is another candidate who gets mentioned that immediately brings people out to say it’s not happening. Maybe Beard but for different reasons.

Chris, I’ve said it before, but there has to be groups specifically in charge of putting out specific smokescreens both good and bad, especially if people were potentially told to keep quiet.

It’s getting so it’s hard to figure out who to believe or not to believe.

The quiet is both encouraging and deafening at the same time!!!! Lol

So I guess Motley's drew the short straw and had to work the weekend shift for the AD's Hall Monitor brigade?

C’mon man. You’re better than that.

Few has already announced his coach in waiting. Doesn't always work out of course.

“Brian Michaelson will be the guy that takes over for me,” Few said exclusively on the College Hoops Today Podcast. “That’s the great thing about Gonzaga. We always have the next guy up in line.”

Giving out home addresses, occupations, cell phone numbers, and lunch buddies on a free, public, anonymous message board is frowned upon.

Stupid comments are frowned upon.

Reading is important. THE LAST 18 YEARS....  68.2% ..... 426-198

Alford at UCLA lol... only won 66%

Evidently you can’t read very well. My numbers are for their entire career. Even using you numbers he’s slightly better than Alford. We can do better. Stick that where the sun doesn’t shine. Now that’s funny.

You don’t leave Arizona or Indiana for Gonzaga. Gonzaga’s an incredible program, but it’s great because they’ve got an elite coach who’s happy there. At the end of the day, it’s still a tiny private school in the middle of nowhere, and that matters from a resources perspective and it won’t be remotely the same level of program when few is gone.
