Yeah, I rearranged my sentences. That must be it. Sorry about that. Didn’t know cut/paste changed the fonts.

It doesn't... but it does retain the font/formatting from the source from which you are copying...

Steve Forbes! Haven't seen that name yet; add him to the board!

Personally, would not. Hasn't yet made a tournament at Wake, though they've been better with him than the last two coaches.

Seems like fans want him done at Wake Forest due to his annual 1-4 to finish the season and missing the tournament once again

Yeah, I think im sensing some remorse in his way of trying to make a point. Just trying to make the board peaceful haha. Majority have had your back along the way, including me

I get that and I don't love his avg OffRtg and DefRtg but I do think Clemson has a much better NiL and just program money/budget - 99% because of football support. Forbes for me is a +6th pick but still above Brownell. We failed on a lot to get here imho.

Guess I'm saying between Brownell vs Forbes - Forbes has done more with less.

Pretty wild that you're so dismissive of Cronin but consider Drew a home run. Yes Drew has a national title, and yes that inflates his overall NCAAT record, but Scott Drew is the king of first weekend exits. Honestly one of the biggest knocks on him, that and his teams generally don't play defense (which lead to early exits) and he's barely over .500 in the B12.

I say that and I like Scott Drew a lot. But Scott Drew and Mick Cronin are very similar coaches in my opinion and you're completely dismissive of one and falling over for the other.

Wiemuth had some good stats about offensive efficiency vs. defensive efficiency for championship teams. i don't have the exact #s, but something like the last 10 national champs have had a higher offensive rating than defensive per kenpom. The argument against Cronin as it relates to Drew (other than his lack of championships), is about style of play/ strengths of the system.

In today's game, offense is paramount.

Question: Does anyone know the benefit of negotiating a lower buyout if you have no plans of leaving? I cannot really make sense of it. Not trying to insinuate anything with this question just trying to understand

He may want out of Ames ... and it may/may not be to IU... there will be other openings in a month, for sure... but I agree that it's puzzling...

I think it must be only if you’re on mobile. Not sure. Maybe I’m just technologically illiterate.

Cronin has had three top 20 KenPom offenses in 6 years at UCLA. Could be better but obviously a lot worse. But his teams for the most part excel on the defensive end. And more importantly, his teams are tough. I can't tell you the last time Indiana has had a tough-minded team. Give me a coach who emphasizes toughness with IU's resources and you'll produce a consistent winner.

That's a good point; Wake is really in a tough spot in the ACC. They've been in a dry spell since Skip & Dino, for sure.

Absolutely. Offenses have more control over the game, and good offense beats good defense, so you want to be the best defense you can be but the other side is more important.

I’m going to try with you too, good sir. You seem like a nice guy. I certainly believe you routinely overstate how much you hear about things, and we’re gonna disagree about stuff, but that doesn’t mean you’re a bad guy and I’m not gonna attack anymore because it’s fruitless. Sorry. Cheers and have a good weekend.

Ed DeChellis anyone? Just what IU needs! Calling my shot now to get out in front of the crowd!

If only Ricky Birdsong were still around.....

I appreciate that. No matter what either of us hears, we both want what's best for IU. I definitely don't think you're a bad person. Thank you and I hope you do the same

Exactly. Remember what I said anyone who says it is 100% is getting bad info. If you asked Brad today he would tell you it's not 100%

But he loves working with the Celtics so much that his contract ends in 3 months.

If Stevens' contract ends in a few months (I don't have that confirmed), his lack of an extension is very likely linked to the impending sale and not his happiness with the franchise. I think we'll see an extension for him announced at the time the new ownership group is announced. That's assuming its his preferred group.

This is called a "back-handed compliment".
