Give me one of Brad, Pearl, Beard, Oats. Few, and IU will be in a final four in no time.

If I knew one of your first 3 was our guy, I'd be pretty pleased. Beard referenced RMK at half time of his UK win. I might be reaching but the timing was interesting.

The next coach really should look up that Luke Brown kid . Heard he can really shoot it.

What's this board's deal with Luke Brown? What'd he do to anybody to warrant being the butt of so many jokes/off-handed comments? Leave the kid alone. Also given his ability to shoot I'd be willing to bet he'd be welcomed to our last 8 years of absolute misery in terms of shooting. I just don't get it.

It's an inside joke geared towards a former poster and not Luke Brown. The former poster started a thread called something like "Luke Brown is the next Damon Bailey" and posted on it at nauseam. I believe he was a relative or someone close to the family.

"That's Bob Knight. Victory favors the most aggressive team, and the team that makes the fewest mistakes," he told ESPN.

Beard would leave today for Bloomington and we could only be so lucky. Hope Dolson hires this coach and we start giving the middle finger back to the basketball world only as the General could do. Let’s go!

I'm having a hard time believing that Mark Few is actually interested in the job. He's been at Gonzaga forever and has had countless opportunities to move on.

Trilly said at 1 point that the plan was for him to coach Gonzaga for the 1st year in the PAC-whatever it is and then retire. That makes perfect sense. Moving on from the only school he’s ever coached to take on a rebuilding job 2,500 miles from home does not.

IU/Butler/ND guy. Yeah he was certainly over the top. Still though

It might have been said already (haven't gone back and read every post), but Chris Beard is still seen as a "risky hire" because of an arrest he was aquitted for, correct?  If he is in coaching purgatory, Coach Knight quote or not, he JUMPS at the first opportunity to coach a HIGH major - even one that has fallen from grace in recent years due to lack of on-court success.  He is your first phone call.

Hasn't made the NCAA tournament once since being hired at oklahoma and hasn't finished in the top half of the Big 12 except for his first season there.  Dakich with another bad take IMO

Dan is a moron.  Incoherent too, he struggles to make clear points.  I guess that is why he is stuck on bottom of the barrel AM radio.
