Just don't try and convince the Drake years are all that impressive, though. They played basically zero P5 teams his entire tenure there unless it was in the tourney.... where he lost. 

Idk. Not excited for DD, but... his results at WVU, I'm fine with, though not spectacular.

My .02, haven’t thought most of this through because who really cares that much…

The consistent name throughout the past few weeks has been McCollum. That makes me think there was/is real mutual interest. Now sort of looks like DeVries sniffed around Iowa but maybe didn’t think he could win there/get enough NIL. So if McCollum really covets the Iowa job as much as people say, seems he’d be next in line. Wonder if it gives McCollum any hesitation for his predecessor at Drake passing on Iowa… curious if that means he gets more serious about IU this week. IMO, not saying any of this is what’s happening, just what initially makes sense to me… but if it’s DeVries we should probably know tomorrow and if no news tomorrow, I’d assume McCollum…
