General Coach Candidate News

No connections or inside information here but there are two things I know for fact: 1) During the last IU coaching search, Brad Stevens, in person, made the "Masshole" comment making it crystal clear he was not going to coach at IU. 2) This time around (through a member of the media, Goodman) Brad sent word that he is "happy in Boston".  Comparing the two, there could be many interpretations of the comment Goodman reported during this search.

First post from the legend since I've been a member. My take, because I know everyone is waiting for it:

• If the lid comes off "a bit later in the week", this tells me leaks can be sooner.
• Most importantly, if the lid comes off a bit later this week, that all but confirms the coach ain't currently coaching. I repeat - THE COACH ISN'T CURRENTLY COACHING.
• Hope that was just a choice of words when said that regional media doesn't know but hopefully doesn't mean national media does.

Will we get an announcement about IU declining any post season offers like Chris Collin’s made for Northwestern? If so, when? Would that  be Dolson’s call, or Woody’s?

Obviously Woodson is out.  What happens with the assistants?  Are they automatically out with the season ending, or do they get let go with the new coach?

Yeah he isn’t taking the lid off till it is known. Then maybe we get some details
