Not that others aren’t more connected here, but if you all recall in Feb. 2017 that I was privy to some inside info about the IUAD starting to move the wheels in dismissing Crean and that it would happen after the season ended…that same contact/booster gave me the “big wink” this afternoon. Instead of undertaker gifs I’ll code speak in what an NDA looks like in practice through the How I Met Your Mother finale speculation…(watch from 0:28 - 1:00 if interested). I can be a bit more candid than others because this contact’s job/influence isn’t at stake.

So if Indiana doesn’t make the tournament tomorrow, then we should get an announcement if it is Brad, and if not, it must be a coach that is still coaching I assume?

This search has been amazingly quiet and it seems Scott may have someone already.  But aside from Brad I have no idea who it may be.  I made a guess Tommy could be a surprise candidate in some post a few pages back.  Other people have brought him up too the past month or so.  sirhoosierlot made a great connection to a RTZ gif which was great, but probably not was RTZ meant by the gif.

Yes, likely a Monday - Wednesday announcement if it’s Brad.

But, I guess The Crown tournament could interfere. I’m sure schools could just pay a fee to not play in it. Pointless for Indiana to play in anymore games at this point, we know what the game will look like.

I think the idea is when the writers were deciding how to end the show, they only had one ending in mind and stuck to that one idea for the whole 9 year run of the show.
 

Analogous to SD always wanting Brad and now getting him I guess.

Why would we do that if the new coach has to start assembling a team and get ready for the portal?
