A plane from Bloomington is heading to see Brad Brownell in Clemson, SC.

To be clear I have no idea if it has anything to do with the search but a plane in Bloomington is heading that direction in a couple of hours.

But later today some planes are all meeting up in Miami again.

This search is exhausting lol. I would think it's extremely unlikely they would meet any coach in the city the university resides.

I’ll be so disappointed if we hire Collins. Maybe he’d be great, but there’s just no getting excited about someone who has lost 70% of their conference games for me. I dgaf where they are coaching. Yea, he’s got three tourneys which is all of them for NW. Two of those are Boo Buie. Before Boo walked through the door his seat was warm if not hot. Give me Brownell if we are making the scared money hire.

Well, I guess we let Brownell flail around for 4 years and then circle back to NOT STEVENS, MCCollum....by then he will have a few years under his belt in D-1 and maybe that will tamper the fears from some who claim the job is too big for him.

Many of us have watched Drake since his name has been circulating. Nothing against those kids, but they do look like Div II talent - but they are very disciplined. No hero ball. No playing outside your means. keep it close, then win the last 5 minutes.
 

My hope, if he does come here, is that his system is highly tailored to his Personnel. If he were to get some higher talent, his system might open up quite a bit to match the talent level. If he were to address that in an introductory press conference, it would go a long way.

It means nothing. I had ties to a donor with their name on a facility last search that swore Stevens was a done deal. We know how that worked out.
