Amazing to me that only 1 player is left from Woody’s team sans Goode and Sisley. Hope that CDD can excel thru the madness of incessant transfers and team building every year. If he’s any good, he should kick @$$ and start destroying these wanna be blue bloods into oblivion. I’m sick of getting our @$$ kicked and hope we play like it starting next year.

I expect nothing less than May, Pope, Kelsey results. If that's what we hired than that's what we should get.

He said his goal is to have a good balance of HS recruiting and portal players, and that ideally you would only need to get a couple players each year out of the portal.  He said this year would obviously be different.

Hopefully he is able to do this, as I do believe a balanced approach will be the best chance for sustained long term success.

Purely FWIW - Kid from southern Indiana.  Wouldn't expect any IU interest.

Vanderbilt’s Alex Hemenway has entered the transfer portal, as a grad transfer. The 6’4” guard never suited up for the Commodores. Previously played at Clemson where he battled injuries and only appeared in 25 games from 2022-24. Hemenway is a 43% career 3 point shooter

Dylan Andrews, 6'2" guard from UCLA.  Has played there three years.  Last year averaged 6.9 points, 1.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists in 25 minutes/game.  Previous year averaged 12.9 points in 35 minutes/game.  40/32/76 career shooter.

If I remember correctly, last time around there was decent mutual interest between Hememway and IU before he ultimately chose to go to Vandy.  Different coaching staff, though.

Well that was quick.

Might have been a mix up at On3.  Mason Miller is now listed as in the portal....earlier today they had him listed as withdrawing.

I can't believe B Tucker is the last guy not officially in the portal.

The kid is definitely talented but would make freshman mistakes. If he is willing to put in the work, he would be a nice player to have. The Woodson offensive was terrible and I felt Tucker would press and take unwise shots bc he didn’t know if he would see the ball again for an opportunity.

Same. The fact he's not in yet makes me think he and dad are really considering  what DeVries is selling at this point.

Never crossed my mind that he’d hang, but he’s a really smart kid and he and his people may be looking at this thing in terms of a clean slate and a bunch of available minutes. I’m really not a fan but it would absolutely be interesting to see him with better coaching and a more open system.

Tom Brew seems to think MM has ruled out returning as an option. Not seen it anywhere else and his SI article doesn't provide too much info.

Can’t imagine he would have returned under any circumstances but I’d guess that during his exit interview he was not given that option.
