We’ve obviously thrown a bunch of names speculatively around here but the only ones specifically mentioned as being contacted by IU so far off the top of my head are Slajchert and Foster. Am I forgetting guys?

Morgan Safford, 6'5" small forward in the portal.  Sat out 2023-24 to deal with mental health issues.  Played two years at Wofford before transferring to Miami (O).

His one season at Miami, he averaged 15.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.4 assists.  Shot 47/35/79.

N.J. Benson, 6'8" power forward, Missouri State.  4 star recruit out of high school.  8.6 points and 7.9 reb in 22 mpg last year.  Solely an inside player.

Benson's teammate Chance Moore also enters the portal.  6'6" wing.  10.7 ppg and 5.3 reb.  Shot 41/30/62

 I'm usually fairly optimistic but I see this program circling the drain.Last night was affirmation that Woody's too stubborn and a one trick pony.If I was a shooter this is the last place I'd want to play.

IU this year is a straight comp to Michigan last year.

IU next year may very well be what Michigan was this year. Maybe not, but it kinda seems so.

Eerily similar in so many ways. One thing not discussed out-loud but the NET factors into our 19-14 finish. We won a lot of close games. 10-2 in games by 6 points.

My scoop for the morning.

Look for Cupps to be a transfer citing lack of structure at IU from coaching staff. (He won’t cite that but that will be the reason)

I am not Cupps biggest fan, that’s for sure, but I’d imagine McNeely’s family citing much the same things.

For the love of all things, this is ugly.

Not that I can think of. I was just being a smartass since the portal seems to be woody’s only strategy for getting players.

Woodson couldn't win with NBA talent. No reason to think he could win with significantly worse talent (CBB). 

 

EDIT: I'm expecting news of Gunn, Banks, Sparks, Mackenzie, and Gabe of transferring by Monday evening.
