Banks and Gunn gonna end up starters for us. (I like both of their potential for sure, I’m not hating but I’m also not betting my house they make us a top team by next year)

I want Shedrick or Dickinson at the 5. I might be disappointed but I feel good about Shedrick.

I tend to prefer Battle, but I’m cool with Battle/Ledlum at the 3/4. I feel pretty good we will get 1 of them.

Who we get at the 2, that can fill it up?

My confidence is dipping over time though. Woody needs more coffee.

probably can’t take much away from a kid that the staff just had a zoom call with(Love) isn’t an option for IU anymore.   according to Eric an hour ago he  said he isn’t interested in his recruitment.  For me Missouri was always the leader and this zoom call for me was IU seeing where they stood.  Plenty of other portal guards that will come to light

Fan base gets in its own way whenever it comes to recruiting too much in my opinion.    Love a couple days wasn’t a legitimate option nor did most want him.   Multiple places say Missouri is probably team to beat.  Home state school for him. IU shows interest and it gets reported of the interest.   Zoom call gets set up to gauge interest.   Evidently interest wasn’t  there and now some in fanbase loses mind over a recruitment that 2 days ago nobody was interested in.    Portal recruiting is going to be fun just to follow other people following it.

Because I was questioning that conclusion with (I thought) not that harsh a comment (and I quote):

And apparently that guy told posters to relay to me to "get off (his) nuts." Geez.

So (said in best Woodson voice) Again. I still hope that guy was right and we're getting Caleb Love (though it wouldn't be "any time now") - we would be adding a talented, entertaining player, and I still think Caleb Love to IU is a real possibility. But while I'm not sure what that guy's basis for knowledge was, my opinion was that there was no reason to believe he knew something that others did not.
