Averaged 17.6 points last year, 40% from three. Played at Virginia Tech prior to playing at Northern Arizona. Looks like Painter knows the shortcomings of his guards. Quote

True, but I think his season stats bear that out as well. JHS was sometimes frustrating to watch this season because he took a lot of contested, long 2s. My take on Love is we get JHS shot selection with a guy who can't shoot nearly as well. NVFalcons1990 1 Quote

Not trying to argue FOR CL.. but, I would contest that XJ/Cupps/TG can get CL better shots than UNC had/could. Now.. I've watched CL 3 times.. ever.. the kid is talented... but I can't say I know much more than that.. Agree season stats were pretty horrendous. ElectricBoogaloo and lillurk 2 Quote

Although totally different positions, worth mentioning that I thought Pete Nance looked a lot better at Northwestern than he did at North Carolina and Dawson Garcia looked better at Minnesota last year than he did at Carolina. I'm not a big Hubert Davis fan and think despite that great tournament run they had, he isn't the best at maximizing talent. lillurk and thebigweave 2 Quote

Scotty R Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 I just can't get use to see these guards overall shooting percentages and seeing guys shooting in the low 40's. Those percentages use to get you on the bench but today they are considered guys we want on our team. Quote
