I'm telling you guys now and you can get in my s#+t later if I'm wrong.
Don't sleep on Banks as a major bucket getter. And a very good rebounder out of that position.I think he's what we need at the three.

I agree. He seems to be one of those guys that has a knack for finding himself in the right space at the right time near the basket. Obviously had some freshman growing pains, but the potential and the length are very much there. Looking forward to his development.

If we are out on Knecht, well... There are other dudes we can absolutely get.

OR.... NOW STAY WITH ME...

This staff pulls their heads outta their ***** and we get some big time player development out of Banks and Gunn and don't need to worry.... Maybe.

Still need a backup point guard and a wing to be comfy though.

I can see Banks and Gunn both being effective. Gunn needs to make shots, improve defense.  Banks is close, just has to sure some things up. Provides some good already but he had some freshman, Bambi type moments last season.

I thought he should have gotten some of the minutes when Bates was struggling.

Maybe he'll get more run this season.

Last I knew, official visits were capped at 48 hours. So that has either changed or the Thursday-Saturday piece is just how his travel schedule shook out. My guess is he gets to Knoxville Thursday evening, but doesn’t see anyone from UT until the next day so his clock starts Friday morning. Or the same concept but from Thursday evening thru Saturday evening.
