way too many of those guys all following each other and already following girls at IU. They don’t follow a lot of people either. 

Tipton is very,very connected to transfer portal/recruiting. He was one of the top recruiting editors a couple of years ago

Catching up on the board today...Would be crazy to add all these guys. Jalen DeLoach would start day 1 at Penn State. Not sure he would at IU. Still, would be wild if Woodson can add him. Sounds good though if those guys (DeLoach, Ledlum, and Ware) are interacting with players on social media. Really hope they can land a wing/guard. Knecht I think would average 15 a game. How bad was his team to finish 12-20? He can play!! I feel like (at least hoping) this will be a very balanced team next year. 

I'v been watching film of these guys with some downtime this evening. I like Knecht the most. He's just a pure scorer and really athletic. Need scoring bad after losing a ton of it. Ledlum seems like a guy that can do a bit of everything. I'm not sure how much he scores here at IU. I feel better about him being a 3. Ware is a guy that has a ton of potential. Like TJD he's a force at the rim and he can step out and guard the 3 point line. He's kind of raw. As much as I want him, not sure he really should be the #2 player in the portal. I can see him as a 10 PPG, 7 RPB, 2 blocks a game kind of player...which is still REALLY good.

but I also think they might have another option there as a back up. 

have to assume they all have to pass basic admission once over and might be tough with holiday weekend. That is just my assumption.

Eric from Hoosier Hysterics talked about a recruit in the past 1.5 years that commited while on visit and the parents too but then went on other visits and didn’t come to IU.  I think he referenced this story as a direct connection to Ware.  So you can easily read between those lines. 
 

anyway, care to speculate who said recruit was?

Eric also touting Shedrick and clearly proposing him as a backup option for Indiana.   I think he’s trying to keep emotions in check.  I think we are crunching numbers as well. Trying to raise more money, literally.  Lol.

On3 doesn't have him as the #2 player in the portal, just the one site did that I saw.

No, not immediately. Ware has the ability to be an all conference player, nba pick - way more upside

Not being argumentative, but I don’t think so….I mean he closed JHS and Malik.  Tipton I’m guessing isn’t hired by the schools. They have their own marketing dept for those things.   Your suggestions sound like a hard close.  Being in sales for 25 years, I’ve been far more successful with the opposite approach.

No. I think he verballed or expressed that desire. Now we just have to hold off the sharks. I think if Tuesday stays the commitment day and everything holds Ware is a Hoosier. Almost everything points this way.
