coonhounds Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 Other boards suck. LolSent from my SM-G960U using TapatalkWhat other boards can you have inside information for days leading you to believe you are right on the cusp of landing the dream coach for the program only to find out at the moment it was supposed to happen it was all in our heads lol. Good luck finding that action anywhere elseSent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 FWIW.....I think the NCAA's opening up the immediate transfer + giving players an additional year this year was an incredibly bad one. Most teams played 20+ games and players had the option to opt out already. Guys like Al Durham are literally going to end up playing more than 150 college games. IUsafety 1 Quote

I am still considering returning as a poster on BtownBanners, but in an effort to insure my future, I will consider other teams' message boards. Again, this is exploratory--I will consider returning to this Indiana University message board after meeting with the new Indiana coach. I would like to thank Coaches Sampson, Dakich, Crean, and Miller for so many years of excellent comedic material. Especially Coach Crean. I also want to recognize Tijan, Middle School Bob, Austin Van Zant, and any Stetson commits from the State of Indiana for the joy they have brought me. My family, fellow posters, moderator mentors, and the great Hoosier Nation fanbase have given me nothing but love and encouragement during my time as a poster on this Indiana message board. They will remain 'family' forever! Stuhoo (ps: F-you Rupp Rafters; don't call) you forgot about thanking Austin Boucher. His fast middle school track times should not be ignored Stuhoo, ALASKA HOOSIER and Class of '66 Old Fart 3 Quote

If Stuhoo comes back, great, but the new coach will want to start over with a new crop of idiot message board posters. ebridges24, Stuhoo, ray and 3 others 1 1 4 Quote
Geometry Hoosier Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 I say, good riddance to Stuhoo! All he did was mess up board chemistry. Remember the time he slept with that other posters girlfriend? He also hit a fellow poster with his car. This is definitely addition by subtraction. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners go iu bb, ALASKA HOOSIER, bigrod and 4 others 2 5 Quote

I think I saw him on a school night beer bonging a 6 foot funnel from the 2nd floor at Walnut Knolls. Totally out of control. And I hear he likes Dakich... Stuhoo 1 Quote
LamarCheeks Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 Man, if whoever the next coach is doesn't get some (or all) of these guys to stay, he's gonna be facing only a little better situation than what Crean inherited. Leal, Galloway, Lander, Rob, Jerome -- that's all who's left on scholarship, pending Brunk's decision. Quote

I don't ever remember a coach agreeing to another job once the tournament had started. Bill Freider in 89 left UM 3 days before the tournament and their aD did not let him coach in the tournament. Honkyman Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 It looks like IU will be relying on some walk-ons next year. Quote

It needs to be noted that everyone is allowed a free transfer without sitting out a year. With the right coach IU could lose 5 players and still be able to field a team talented enough to make the tournament with incoming transfers of their own. VO5 Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 Rabjohns said it will be a big surprise if he returns so that’s one guy for sure gone out of the transfer portal. Also said AF is hearing from a lot of schools and it might be tough to keep him. Yay Quote
