Under the old staff it would have been reasonable to assume IU would have been in here. Givony - Arizona State transfer Joson Sanon -- a five-star recruit in 2024 -- has committed to St. John's, he told ESPN. Early portal score for Rick Pitino and the Big East champions. Demo 1 Quote

Sanon’s certainly a better shooter than Richmond. jimsorgi 1 Quote

Would love to know the backstory on this as I saw he was likely to Villanova as well then suddenly it was Xavier who I thought was getting Murray. Seems an interesting move from NM to Xavier except I did not really like the NM area from a living standpoint so perhaps that was part of it. Quote

Got undercut on a fast break and took a nasty fall on his back. Thought the kid was really hurt. Down for several minutes. Took him to the locker room, wasn’t walking well at all. Came back out to the bench walking a little better and proceeded to flat wear his coach out trying to get back in the game. Coach finally gave in and that kid competed his a$$ off at about 70%. Long way of saying, yeah, kid’s a dawg and I’d take him in a second. schoosier, HinnyHoosier, fwgreenway and 7 others 10 Quote

It's a decent chance he wouldn't have started last year at WVU with Stone and Tucker Small Stone DeVries Okani Hansberry Harris Powell Yesuf Andre IMO-- is a pretty darn good group, especially if Stone fit seamlessly. And building that type of roster, year 1 with those resources has me excited. Demo, Home Jersey, BGleas and 2 others 5 Quote
