My enthusiasm level for starting this thread isn't very high but someone has to get it started right?  As of 9:00 this morning line favors the Illinois by 7.5, o/u 145.5.  Brandon Gaudin and Stephen Bardo will call the game on FS1.

We've not started out 0-2 in B1G play since 2013-2014.  Illinois is (6-3) (2-1) coming into today's game.

Or a Christmas Miracle and the Hoosiers win.

I won't be able to watch live. I have one more Christmas family Party to go to today. I will be staying off SM and phone will be off. I will be as excited to watch the recording as I am every game I watch.

I will say this, outside of Cockburn and Ayo, I haven't been too impressed with Illinois. They have all had good games, but not consistently.

Cockburn has been extremely shaky in the pick n’ roll this year, would love to see a breakout game from Lander today if he and TJD can get things going. Guard play has to step up with Ayo and Frazier being good defenders.

Have a feeling today’s game will be very similar to the game towards the end of last season. Hopefully the Hoosiers come out on top this time.

Miller- not impressed since the first couple cupcake games. All 3 of those have been inconsistent(at least in the games I watched, which is about 6 of them.

Sadly yes. We've been able to score 80 before. 89 against Tennessee Tech and 87 against Northern Alabama. So we can do it against Illinois.

Illinois is pretty solid so I don’t imagine us winning this game.

 

However, I’d like to see us compete, improve our shooting, and continue to see great defense vs a 

good team.
