theriverpilot Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 That was dirty, Trey. Nice running layup Quote
CookHallGymRat Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 That was a nice way to cleanse my eyes from what I saw yesterday. A little bit of faith has been restored.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners theriverpilot and Str8Hoosiers 2 Quote
Brass Cannon Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 How often does a reclassed PG get 3 blocks? Quote
DChoosier Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Nice win. Came out aggressive from the get-go. TJD showed up in a big way. Nice D. Franklin had a nice game but the other guards were a bit erratic. HoosierAloha 1 Quote
HoosierAloha Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Glad to see the team respond after a piss poor showing yesterday. We need more consistent effort like this and game 1 from Maui going forward. We are who we are and need to play to those strengths. Whoozhers 1 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted December 2, 2020 Author Posted December 2, 2020 Didn't see yesterday's debacle coming and didn't see today's bounce back performance coming especially with Al sidelined. We clearly have potential if we could just harness some consistency. HoosierAloha 1 Quote
Trish Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Great defense! TJD showed up! Frank was huge! Race with solid play! Our freshman got valuable experience without being too much of a burden for the team! offense looks better when we make lay-ups, a couple 3’s, and we feed our All American and he makes shots. Interesting concept! HoosierAloha, taco corp, Stromboli and 2 others 5 Quote

Chips&Dipo Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Nice win. Love our defense. Lots of room to grow, but happy with the result. I think if we can become more consistent offensively, we will have a really nice season. theriverpilot and HoosierAloha 2 Quote

It’s the price of leadership. THIS!!! And I am not calling you out... but go through the Game Thread and see who was posting early and mysteriously stopped as soon as we started to grow a good lead, and show we were going to play well today.... Some of the same posters who post 100 times how terrible Archie is, but never post when things go right.... Trust me, I get some of the frustration, and I know yesterday wasn't just 1 game but a repeat of many past performances... but you know what... today wasn't just 1 good game either... it is a repeat of many past GREAT performances under CAM. thebigweave, cchuntsman, HoosierAloha and 1 other 4 Quote

Most of the anti Archie crowd admit there are good times. But there were good times with Crean also. The anti Archie crowd want the good and bad split to be more like 80-20 and not so much 50-50. Honkyman Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Guard play on the offensive end remains a problem. Franklin 0-3 from 3-point range. Lander 1-5 from 3-point range. Galloway, 1-1 and Phinisee 2-3 from 3-point is decent but guards making just four 3-point shots is not a recipe for success. Quote

Amazing how that works. Take away Lander's 1-5 from deep and we actually shot it really well. We gave up some early points from missed outside shots. We need to take threes but we need to take them in the right sets at the right time. Otherwise we're wasting shots going at the basket. cappymo14, Trish and thebigweave 3 Quote
Trish Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 54% 33% 80% Players showed up today, played harder from the start and was awarded. On the plane back to Bloomington tonight after going 2-1. I'll take it from our young team. Bobman1 1 Quote
