After all the B$Ming from Justin Smith and his father I’m a little shocked they didn’t make a move. I’m sure the sit a year thing weighs in. I bet he’s set to graduate this year and will grad transfer if this year isn’t what he hopes.

To me he was our biggest disappointment by a landslide. Romeo didn’t have the season we hoped but he was serviceable. I think Romeo hurt chemistry a bit just by being Romeo and the attention he attracted.

But Smith save for 2 or 3 games was a really bad player. Bad shooting from all 3 levels but the free throw adventures told me the most. I don’t know what is going on with him. He’s smart, yet he made awful decisions regularly.

I’m rooting for him because IF he figures it out he would be fun player to watch but I have no idea how Archie fixes it. Decision making, instincts, shot making on all levels, and heck even defensive ability which should be his real calling card.

Wishing and praying.

I think you are exactly right. Sitting a year wasn't in their plans. Give IU one more year and if it doesn't work move on. Hope it works out.

Indiana all-stars took an early lead and never looked back beating Kentucky 97-64

Appreciate you posting the box score. However, it’s blurry and hard to make out what it says in spots. Noticed Allen that has committed to UK didn’t start, nor score did he score

Brandon Newman led the Indiana All-Stars with 18 points including 3 of 4 from 3-point range. Too bad he's going to Purdue. He is going to be a good ball player for them.

Yeah, TJD is the best player in the class.  Newman is 2nd.  He's a good one.  I think Franklin will be good for us in time and well liked but I feel that Newman is the better player.  Newman will get a ton of shots in that offense I believe.

Jaden Ivey was a good get for them as well.

Nice well rounded game from Franklin. Didn’t score a whole bunch but it looks like he was doing the little things to help his team win. He did lead the team in TOs but had a couple steals and a block.

OT, I saw Newman play several times and he's definitely a good one.  I think people are a little bit higher on him as a shooter than I am but I am higher on his ability to get to the hoop than most.

I've been trying to find a box score for the Indiana Juniors v Seniors game and have been coming up blank.  I did think it was interesting, though, that Galloway (I believe) outscored Leal in the Indiana Jr/St game as well as the Junior game against Kentucky.  Galloway might be a really underrated player at this point because he didn't shoot the three all that well in high school play during the season.

Galloway is the one we want in my opinion. Leal is a nice player but I think Galloway is the kind of kid we need

Agree completely. A lot of talk about those  two makes them sound interchangeable. From what I’ve seen Galloway is much more complete and more competitive.

Saturday final: Indiana 120, Kentucky 74   TJD the leading scorer with 17 but he definitely needs to work on his FT shooting.

Friday's final: Indiana 97, Kentucky 64

Per the record book, the 79-point margin over the two games is the most combined margin of victory in the Indiana-Kentucky series that dates back to 1939.

Anybody have a link to a list of all the games and there results in the series

7-13 from the stripe, sounds like he's already fitting in with his future teammates.
