hoosierdogg Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 Gawd, Hoosiers need shooters soooo bad. No one but Phinissee even looks at the basket when beyond the arc. Quote

Archie needs to bring in an offensive coordinator........and my god, Romeo has no killer in him. He needs to know he’s an alpha and I’m not sure he does. I get that every draft service projects Romeo as a lottery pick. And I’ve heard posters crucify anyone who says he won’t be, because the NBA drafts on potential. But put me in the group that just has a hard time seeing an NBA star the way he plays right now. If they’re drafting on potential they better be willing to wait 3-4 years. Yes, he can get to the rim. But the NBA is a Golden State league where three point shooting reigns king. You can’t drive the lane against grown men. I’ll support his decision, but if he’s in a starting lineup before year four in the league I’ll be surprised. Woodsonshump 1 Quote

JSHoosier Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 Calzone averages 2 ppg, he has 21 tonight. The Wisconsin dude all over again and it doesn't look like we give a crap. pappy1865 1 Quote

cappymo14 Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 Don’t leave a corner shooter with the clock running down. At least not the guy who’s been killing you all night.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners theriverpilot 1 Quote
DChoosier Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 I realize it take 17 years to learn this defense but maybe we should guard the hot shooter on the perimeter and block out their best rebounder. Just a thought, and I know that is asking a lot, after only 1 1/2 years. ElectricBoogaloo and Maedhros 1 1 Quote

My prediction is that if he leaves, we won't hear much about him next year, and he won't get a second contract with the team that drafts him. Woodsonshump 1 Quote
Bailey7878 Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 Are we gonna win another game this year?I dont see any road wins. Maybe get lucky and win two or three at home.Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk Quote

IUrocker Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 This team is full of guys who are really good at missing open shots. I don’t think this is on Archie as much as some may think. We just don’t have knock down shooters at all. All of Justin Smith’s 3 point attempts have been completely wide open and every one of them looked ugly and couldn’t hit them. Need to recruit shooters so bad. I’m not comfortable putting this on Archie until the roster is 100% his guys who come to play for him and his system. Alford Bailey and HoosierDYT 2 Quote

DLG3 Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 Why is Collins smart enough to get the hot shooter open, but we can’t get a top 5 player in the class open?Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners ElectricBoogaloo and Josh 2 Quote
LamarCheeks Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 I think their past six buckets are 3-pointers. Quote
