While standing in line outside they looked like they were enjoying themselves in the back of the super golf carts as the IU staff drove them around the Hall to show off the lines of people waiting to get in. They placed them higher up so they could see the light show on the court. Keion was paying enough attention to catch a shirt that juwan Morgan through into the crowd. Some reported they left before the scrimmage but all they did was move to behind the benches for the start of the scrimmage. Hard to know for sure how disappointed or excited they were without really asking them directly. Listening to Assembly Call podcast after he was doing it live from Assembly Hall after the event and said TJD and Keion were on the court after seemingly enjoying themselves. I’m guessing they will be having fun in the new lounge playing fortnite on the big screen. Heck I would set it up on the scoreboard in the Hall and have them play it on that Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app JHoosier914, BGVille Hoosierfan, NRT137 and 7 others 9 1 Quote
MoyeNeeded Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Its not like this was anything new to them. Haven't they both been to HH? Quote
HoosierFan1994 Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 I was at Hoosier Hysteria. Don't worry...TJD and Keion know they are loved by Hoosier Nation. They only sat up in the middle so they could see the court with the new graphics. Right before the three point contest a staff member escorted them out. My guess is that they spent time in the new locker room area. Overall Hoosier Hysteria was a success. I do think they need to cut the autograph line off after a certain point. Many people waited in line for an hour and did not get an autograph. Outside of that I am very excited for the season! Chris007 1 Quote

RatpigHoosier Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 I’m not too concerned about the recruits looking bored. These kids have seen it all by now and I’m sure aren’t easily impressed. Plus they have to have good poker faces so they don’t appear too “into” one school over another. I’m sure they practice looking indifferent, or at least by this point it comes naturally to them after doing it so long. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote
NRT137 Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 My New Starting Lineup IMO: Durham (Durham had a 3, Green rotates in) Romeo Smith (took 2 confident jumpers) Morgan (Thompson rotates in, Thompson had 2 strong dunks and a 3 pointer) Fitzner (went 3/5 from 3 point line, Moore rotates in looking good with pick and roll) Quote

They would rather be hanging with all the current players at someone's apartment, or at Archie's house, at a party, etc, but instead all the players are out on the court. Watching a meaningless scrimmage for a few hours could get pretty boring for them. MemphisHoosier 1 Quote

That lounge/locker room is going to be a HUGE selling point to recruits. Amazing addition! Popular Post Myrmidon76 Posted September 30, 2018 Popular Post Posted September 30, 2018 I can't offer a lineup, but I can offer this: 1. Our opponents will have to guard the 3 point line with sincerity this year. The offense has a more balanced feel to it...I will admit that the guys took a few quick shots, but overall...the weight won't fall onto 1 shooter's ability. 2. Moore didn't look lost or overwhelmed. I don't know how he falls into the rotation, but he showed actual development. 3. Jerome Hunter was very, very physical with Langford on both ends. He is an "up in your face" defender and a true "bully" on offense. Needs to be a little more patient on his shot selection, but Hunter is definitely a Miller type player. 4. Langford appeared to be pressing a bit in the early part of the scrimmage, but he never let his offense determine his defense. Matter of fact, it appeared that his defense allowed his offense to settle in. The kid is extremely smooth..that floater in the lane was impressive and difficult to stop. 5. Anderson has a big upside. He took decent shots and attacked the glass and stayed in control. Probably needs to increase his vision on offense, but I feel confident he can do that. 6. Race Thompson and Jake Forrester are going to completely change the tone of our interior play. They were physical and played through contact. 7. Durham shot the ball with noticeable confidence. I'm going to remain guarded with his shot until he does it consistently in the flow of the offense, but he took shots when he should and they were going in. 8. I have to say that it appeared that most of the upperclassmen were going, at best, 1/2 speed. The effort on defense was consistently inspired, but the upperclassmen were deferring to the new guys (Fitzner included). Just my opinion. 9. Smith, Morgan, Green, McRoberts all did good things, but again...they appeared to defer to the new guys. Anyways, that's my way too early assessment. Things will change for sure, but this team has a noticeable difference in approach from last year's Hysteria. I think it's an improvement...time will tell. LamarCheeks Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 I just saw a video of the coaches, players, etc, being introduced -- and it wasn't Chuck Crabb doing the talking. Did he retire from his PA duties? I can't imagine our fellas taking the floor without Chuck saying, "Ladies and gentlemen, your Indiana Hoooooooooooooooosiers!" Quote
