Do like Harris version of announcing as opposed to some of the me-centric celebrations.  Simple twitter post a couple of hours before he commits and a short video showing where he is going.

Virginia kid wants to stay close to home where his family can watch him play. Can't be upset about that. Archie will be fine. I'm ready to get things started with the guys we've got.

Interesting to see what Jeremiah Francis does. He has been hurt but that’s twice he has been recruited over in his own class plus they have 3 more guards and are going after a grad transfer. Maybe he red shirts. FWIW he was Archie’s first guard offer in the 2019 class

The grad transfer market is OK to talk about, but that pool is getting slimmer and slimmer.  I'm not convinced there's really that much help left out there for what we need.

I’m not really upset, just a little baffled that nobody seemingly wants to be here. I’m really starting to think Romeo is being used as a negative against Archie, as fair or unfair as that is.

Romeo helped conduct the visit. That’d be difficult to neg.

Someone who has offers from schools with the likes of Stanford probably had all of his graduation requirements completed during this year as a junior if not before and would be spending his senior year taking even higher AP type college courses

Genuinely curious but what have Bruiser Flint and Schilling done since being hired? Flint seems to be the right hand man of Archie. Have these guys pulled their weight on recruiting?

This sucks. Not that Harris is a transcendent talent, but he is the type of player that you can build a program on. He had a chance at a lot of immediate playing time at IU and instead he'd prefer to be an after-thought at Carolina where his family can watch him warm up for 3 years before he actually plays or transfers. 

I guess until or if we win we will lose most of these battles

As a player I’d rather Quinones anyway, as a person though I’m not as sure.

This one hurts a little but Harris isn’t all that and a bag of chips.

It’s more the appearance of going after guys and losing on the reg.

Well there is only so many spots and much more recruits. So that will always be the case. Still have a very good class of TJD, Brunk, and Franklin coming in.

Some schools aim high and don’t miss. Duke.

Some schools aim high and miss sometimes but still get studs.. Kentucky, UNC, Kansas until this year, Arizona.

Then you have schools that seem to land their targets they go after

MSU, Michigan, Ohio State lately, Villanova, and others.

Then we fall in the batch that aims high then seems to lower the bar 3 or 4 times to close out classes.

Our recruiting class is #49 right now. Granted the 2 recruits keeps it low but......
