For some reason they could not get the ball to Juwan for about 8-10 mins in the second half. Unbelievable.

I know mdn threw me out as a Wichita State fan, but I'm an IU fan.  I just want to win.  Being ridiculed because of that while I watch our team get embarrassed for the fourth time this season is frustrating.

Agreed. We would have to run to have a chance. We can’t hit shots. We are going to have 6’7” guarding 7’2” (Not an excuse as I feel Juwan should be taller). We will get beat by 20+ unless they can’t hit a shot and our crowd shows up.

When did I do that? Is that your beef with me because you feel I did that? Sorry you feel that way but I don’t question people’s fandom. I may say go be a fan of... but that isn’t me so I apologize you feel that way. I don’t like when people say someone is a fan of another school. I am a fan of how other people play but that doesn’t make me a fan of them.

Yeah, this may not be a talented roster. And it may not be a great fit for Archie's structure. But with the exception of Morgan and McRoberts, I'm gonna guess that every other holdover rotation player is shooting worse from both 2 and 3, and obviously FT's, than last year. That ain't on Crean. That's a skill development issue with this staff.

This program needs something real positive to happen NOW.  I do not care if he is gone after one year...we need a talent injection to get this train rolling or we are looking at another 2-3 years of struggling.  I have been a huge fan for decades but this is getting old.

Its not to much to ask. But it is not happening with these guys and to be honest it is a miracle our record is not worse. Every game we play sets the sport back 100 years. We used to be known for free throws and taking care of the ball. This is not that

IU can’t afford to play Freddie against Purdue. Honestly rather see Priller in against Haas than him. Priller could hack a Shaq him the first 4 minutes. I would like to see more Moore and Smith. IU May not win the next 3 games but I just want them to limit mistakes and play basketball smartly. The main goals for the rest of the season should be to make sure Race doesn’t get hurt in practice, Juwan stays healthy, and Durham gets confidence in his shot.

No that's on the players. The system is getting them open looks. If they're shooting worse then they need to get in the gym. No one on this staff has done anything to make them shoot worse, such as change their form or like Crean did with Stan Robinson.....make him shoot with his off hand.

Agreed, I feel if the refs would have allowed Archie to take our free throws he would have hit better than the 50% our players did.

Durham has no shot. Has never had a shot. Love the kid, but he was rated perfectly out of high school and is way over his head. He's smart though, I'll give him that. If he doesn't play a minute more this season I'm cool with it.

Morgan is a beast. DeRon can help. Smith can help. IMO Clifton can help and should be getting minutes. McBob can help. The rest can go as far as I'm concerned.

You've called me out twice in this thread as jaded because IU didn't hire the coach I want.

A lot of things conspired to cost us this one.  Crappy FT shooting, some foolish turnovers, and add in more than a few questionable calls and that's how you lose games like this.  Morgan is just playing lights out ball (except from the stripe) and doesn't get much help at all on the offensive end.  It's been obvious for some time now that we lack shooters, size, and a good PG and that's what we're stuck with for the rest of this season. 

It's gonna be one step forward and two steps back.
