Workmanlike efffort---want to see Juwan start asserting himself more. Good to see RoJo bounce back and Al and Hartman back as well. Bigs-DD and FreddieMac had solid lines--love the 9 boards by FreddieMac--competition gets even better with ISU--time to turn it up even more! All in all--good work Hoosiers!

My biggest takeaways were the obviously improved D from last year and McSwain. McSwain can really have a role on this year’s team playing exactly like he did today.

I’m not as worried about the offense. We missed a lot of bunnies and open shots. I think Rob will break out of his slump here soon as well. Archie also said we’ll be implementing more offensive schemes in the upcoming week. 

I’m encouraged.

Forgot to add, but watching a team not turn the ball over 20 times a game is a sight to see. I could get used to this.

Just saw that we've only committed 18 TO's in 2 games.

43.8% shooting. That will be our struggle this year. But if we average around 16 assists and 8 turnovers per game we should be good to go.

A team has to have fundamentals in order to reach its full potential. If you’re a dumb basketball team, you’ll never reach the ultimate goal. We’ll see how it goes when it’s for real on Friday but I have a good feeling it’ll be alright

Does anyone know why Vijay Blackmon hasn't dressed for the past two games?

8 turnovers and archie said that was 8 to many. Last year we would have celebrated that. My prediction is we will be a pretty good team this year but it wont be fast breaks and threes we will play uglier than we are used to seeing imo

Listening to post game with coach, I'm so happy we have a coach that is a no nonsense guy.  Not worried about your name but worried about are you gonna do what I asked you to do.  History repeats itself and step 1 for us is having a coach that demands what he wants or you just won' play.  Step 2....Indiana boys being on the team.  So far, so good.

Not too pleased with the 'Live 3 or Die' approach in the 1st half and the fact that quick 3's esp. contested can be as bad as turnovers.

2.  Not all fast breaks and 3s?  Music to my ears.

But I’m not sure three or four 3s in a row without ever getting the ball inside or turned a few times to make the defense work is a good thing. And that was frustrating tonight. I thought we would have been better in half-court movement, and we weren’t.”
