The sad thing for me about all of this is that, at its inception, the game was pure. It's nothing close to that now. Admittedly, I'm old and probably out of touch but I miss that purity, even if it was only an illusion.

Anything where money is involved there will be some level of corruption. Football may make more in sales, but merchandise is basketball hands down. I haven’t heard of the Peyton Manning shoe, but you got Jordan’s, Kobe’s, Steph Curry, etc. Just so lucrative for so many people if a kid is good.

After today it seems like Kentucky and Seton Hall have the most reason to be worried.  UK could end up vacating a lot of games over the past few years, I could very well see Cal bolting Lexington after this season.
His ruse is up.
I doubt it. The ncaa needs Kentucky and it's money. Cal may leave but no sanctions for kentucky.

This will all blow over in time because a majority of the people want to see the best players in college before going to the pros. The way clingers go about getting to the kids and family might change a bit but they won't go away.

The only way dook or puke go down is if the other takes them down. I could see that ***** @$$ Cal bolting and taking dook down with him.

The whole mess is too big for the NCAA to deal with so they'll just wait until it blows over.

So.....most interesting quote in this article to me? Players getting 5k to visit schools? 5 OV at 5k a piece in some circumstances?

Man. With the nature of our recruitments, I could see Crean involved in this sort of stuff.
