Not concerned about rankings at all. CAM is getting the kids he wants who fit what he is trying to do. That's all that matters to me.

Newman was ranked above Franklin. Which one is being red shirted because they aren’t ready to contribute. 
 

Honestly while rankings are a good indicator I kinda feel all the services are phoning it in after 50 or so.

Not concerned about rankings at all. CAM is getting the kids he wants who fit what he is trying to do. That's all that matters to me.

Same, but if we’re able to land Garcia I’ll be much happier about the class.

As far as the three 2020 recruits, they have solid talent and experience in front of them where they won’t need to step in and contribute huge numbers as freshman. If they’re up to it then all the better.

Geronimo will have Hunter, Durham, and a bit of Smith in front of him on the wing.
Leal and Galloway will have Durham, Franklin, and a bit of Hunter in front of them.

I like this method of recruiting where you can ease top 100/150 talent into the rotation. That’s what top programs (not naked cheaters) do.

Now, if we could land Garcia to mix in with TJD and Smith before we lose Brunk, Smith, and possibly TJD the following season I’ll be ecstatic! (I think we’ll need to land Kaufman, Furst, or something similar in the ‘21 class still)

Yeah but they also get RJ Davis who will be very good and some stud big men. UNC will be a top 10 program for the foreseeable future.

typical highlight clip, but you can see why they’d kick the tires on him. Great pg size/body. Good looking athlete. Looks to be able to create. Also seems like he might have some edge to him. And, God knows, this team could use some edge.

Yeah, for whatever reason Indiana basketball is soft. Was Charmin soft under Crean and isn’t much stronger or tougher under Archie.

 

I guess it’s the type of kid or players we recruit, but I’d love to be a physical, tough team. Been asking for DOGS for years.

 

PS-ideally I don’t want recruiting failures to lead us to Juco often or ever.

We should go after the two Columbia grad transfers. One a PG avg almost 20 and 48% from 3 and the big averaged 12 and like 7 rebounds. Both could get into IU easy as grad transfers and fills two needs.
