He isn't overly flashy and probably won't contribute as a freshman, but his shooting is top notch and he is surprisingly athletic - not to mention we have many scholarships so adding a four year player is more than okay. For those interested, his brother plays for MSU, and they consistently train with Luke Kennard Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

Popular Post schoosier Posted June 7, 2017 Popular Post Posted June 7, 2017 Their AD said it was directly related to recruiting which makes me think Matta not being able to physically do it. Big man U finally dried up and even his confidant Knight couldnt help him. Matta always was classy winning(mostly) and losing and I wish him better health soon. Hope he can get back one day. Brass Cannon Posted June 7, 2017 Posted June 7, 2017 OSU is in a tough spot. Marta's health has led that program to being pretty devoid of talent. It's gonna require a bit of a rebuild. No coach currently established is gonna want to do that at a football school. They are going to have to get an up and comer but honestly all the best up and comers that we're going to leave their school have probably already left. Id roll with an interim for a year rather than make a rash decision like hiring Crean. Dalton26, IUsafety, Str8Hoosiers and 1 other 4 Quote

I personally don't think he's an upgrade, wouldn't feel like OSU would be a B1G force to reckon with consistently.I'm still just waiting for all these "sports" experts to apologize to IU fans for saying how crazy we were to get rid of Crean when he's never brought up as a candidate for any of these other programs that had opening, outside of the "sports" "experts". Alford Bailey Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 Timing is odd on this one. Makes me think something changed since the end of the season. Pretty sure Crean is interested and also pretty sure OSU aint that dumb. Quote

Jeff_Boy_Ardee Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 Starting to see rumors that Creighton is prepared for McDermott to leave and that Crean is a leading candidate to replace him at Creighton. Just rumors floating around the World Wide Web, but Creighton could actually be a good fit for him there. Have a good season every now and then, never expected to go on deep runs.
