You would have to check with Mike Peterson first. He seems to be heavily involved in all the Indy Hoosier AAU players recruitments except for Neese's fwiw.

There will be other recruiting classes, 2017 is not some earth shattering class. If we can land Donovan I don't care if we have zero recruits coming in (obviously that won't happen, announcing he is the coach will have quite a bit of recruiting appeal) plus our team still has talent on it it's not like when Crean inherited it. Donovan can take this team and have some success and then really hit the recruiting trail for next year. One recruiting class should have no input on securing a coach like Donovan. I can't believe that's even an issue being talked about.

We didn't have to bring him back two years ago, either. But we did.

We didn't have to make Bill Lynch head football coach because he carried out Hep's dream. But we did.

We didn't have to let the players decide Mike Davis as our basketball coach. But we did.

 

When you've seen poor decision after poor decision from your athletic department for a decade and a half with different people, you just kind of expect it.

According to Mile there could be a PC later this week. That could make sense becaus the Thunder play Wednesday and then don't play again until Sunday and both games are in OKC. Not to mention it would dominate headlines this week during the sweet 16 and elite 8 games.
