Interesting. OG's spot is Smith who could be one of those kids, that means he is expecting a few more departures. TB is probably gone as well then. Honestly it is probably our 3 recruits. Moore or Durham havent been let out their LOI yet so makes sense. Rabjohns is just making us think were going after some others. Would like to get involved with Waters, Langford, Baker, Smith, Moore since he isnt technically ours and Garrison Brooks.

Crazy thing is crean left CAM in  mess if all 3 honors their LOI because incoming kids are guaranteed their spot.   If OG was  the only one to leave and everyone else came back 2 current players technically would lose their spot.   I don't foresee all of them honoring their LOI and these situations always works itself out but if I was CAM I wouldn't of liked this situation

Well 2 have already formally asked to be released so just honor their requests and the potential problem becomes more manageable.  If we have to lose 2 of the 3, then the right 2 asked for their release IMO.  If CAM is visiting all 3 this week, then he must not see any problem otherwise he'd just issue a nice "hate to see you go but understand" press release and let them go.

This is the perspective I think we need on JBj and his defensive capabilities. Certainly not a gimmie and he still has to buy in and give the effort but I too have seen "flashes" of this. Part of the problems we seem to have under Creans D was that our guards doubled down a lot only to then have to chase back out to find their guy now open. Playing chase often.

That being said when JBj was not In one of his "flashes" on D he often looked disinterested. This is potentially correctable but JBj will have to pick it up. I do not discount Archie's ability to get more out of him.

Lastly keep this in mind, Larry Bird found a way to be on two all NBA defensive teams.

I haven't chimed in much on the Blackmon debate here lately but I will offer my thoughts.

Without blinking an eye, I want Blackmon back. I've seen flashes from him defensively that shows he's capable of playing defense at a high level. Archie Miller implements a pack line defensive strategy, which I think will help JBJr settle in. It's not a defensive strategy like Crean's, where we are throwing a bunch of different schemes at the guy's in the same game. Call it Crean's defensive Gumbo. Offensively, he's about as good as they come, even on a national scale. Put him in a transition/motion offense, where there will be designed plays to get him open looks, and we have ourselves one of the top players in the nation.

My favorite part of that video is they posted it on FB as "a peak into Monday's Bigs workout", and they were actually working on post moves, etc. While I'm certainly fine with players rounding out their their skills and adding elements to their games, it's refreshing that I feel like we're getting back to some basics of the game.

I kept trying to find Green, Cujo or Rojo in the video but then I saw the Facebook post about it being a "Bigs workout" too. I love it. There were times I wondered if Crean even knew that we had bigs on the team. It's nice seeing Archie working them out and focusing on post drills, especially so soon.

TB was probably so confused when Archie didn't have him working on his perimeter game.

I honestly think OG is the only player that leaves.

God i really hope Clifton Moore doesn't go to Northwestern feeling that would be a very frustrating sight to behold
