I was working in Bloomington all day today, so I stopped to grab dinner at Buffalouis and ate it next to cook hall. Just wanted to eat my dinner in front of 2 National treasures. Around 5:20 ish, Juwan, Clif, Justin Smith and Al all came out together and got into Juwan’s suv. All laughing and having a good time.... McBob followed.... then God (CAM) came out looking like a 16 year old kid..... god drives a Cadillac btw.

FYI

Porter has never veered very far from home -- from George Mason to ODU. That doesn't necessarily mean anything -- just throwing this out there. Heck, for all we know, he might actually want to get far away from home for his final stop. But the Twerps certainly are close to home.

Not to show u up.  Just adding Evan Gordon to the list.  I actually thought the number was more than 3 during Crean's tenure, but that was all.

I like the grad transfer rule too.  Max would have been jettisoned by Beilein, and then what, without the transfer rule?  It is easy to forget sometimes that college is supposed to be centered on what is best for the student, and not what is best for the basketball coach.

South Dakota's Matt Mooney has had Arizona State, Oregon, Iowa State, Texas Tech, Missouri, Northwestern, Memphis, TCU, Creighton, Nebraska, Indiana, Virginia and Arizona reach out to him as a potential grad transfer.

South Dakota graduate transfer Matt Mooney (18.7 PPG) will host Bobby Hurley & an assistant from Iowa State today.  

Creighton & possibly Memphis will be in tomorrow. Indiana, Texas Tech & Northwestern are expected in on Sunday.

For those who would like additional info the experts don't think matters, 6'2" Guard 45%  from 2, 35% from 3, 83% at the line

It might help that Mooney has some Midwest roots—from Wauconda, Illinois near Chicago and went to Notre Dame prep school. I still prefer Taylor from UE and a little stronger 3-point shooting since that is such a weakness for us—but Mooney is a solid recruit.

What have you heard on that front?

Sometimes a little “tude” and swagger are definitely hidden intangibles that can be assets. I like tough-and hard-nosed players who refuse to lose.
