Keep Crean. He's a good coach. Some bad apples but they'll be out of the program soon. Yes, he recruited them but I think it's hard to predict how...or if...a player will emotionally mature over three to four years. All I'm saying is a new coach is not the answer.

bad apples? Crean says there all good kids. We got what three 5 star kids and still can't play at a high level? What do you like most about him? I hope we come home and crean and the team go on a tear and have a great season but I don't see it happening. If you think we should sit here and wait for all the bad apples to graduate transfer or get arrested and kicked off that is ridiculous. Not that I think there are any bad apples just lost poorly coached young men in my opinion

"He's a good coach." Please provide evidence. Not a response based on your emotions.

What's the probability he'll recruit more bad apples...?  It seems quite high.  Also it's convenient for him to divert the attention from his turrrrble coaching.  If he magically recruits good apples who work hard will another few sweet 16s be good enough for you?

Players simply don't understand the philosophy of what it means to play for Indiana. What I like is the philosophy that Butler uses and they seem to have an understanding of what it means to play The Butler Way.

I think you'd be pleasantly surprised.  Sure we are suffering on the court, but the state of the program itself is excellent, and we'd be able to attract way more high quality candidates than 2008.

  • No NCAA sanctions
  • Perfect APR score
  • Ample recruiting with amazing 2017 in-state class
  • Great fan support
  • Cook Hall and upgraded Assembly Hall ready for 2016

The only negative is that our current product on the court is subpar, but we'll be very attractive to a coach who sees the peak and not the valley and wants the challenge.

The "only" negative?  You're forgetting the complete lack of discipline and leadership that has led to no less than 8 arrests of players and that many dismissals or transfers within a 2 year period.    There's that....
