Last 2 minutes showed lots of creans deficiencies. Yeah, our players made a couple of stupid plays. But WHY wasn't there a play drawn up for Blackmon? Hell give him 3 straight screens. Do something other than give it to our freshman guard. This is where Crean is supposed to be making his money.

Why does our 5 driving the ball 40 feet from the basket? Why is our 5 taking a shot from 4 feet behind the arc with the shot clock winding down?

Teams take after their coach. This team is frantic to close out the game. Did you see Wiscy down the stretch? (Ignore all the calls they get in the Kohl's Center, I'm trying to make a point)

Yup. The difference between us and a team like Wiscy is glaring. My dad and I were both in agreement that we would find a way to blow that lead. It's just become expected at this point. How sad is it that at a school like IU we're worried about losing a game up 7 with a minute to go? We're like a scared little puppy in late game situations and Wiscy is a bulldog. Just feel defeated as a fan honestly

Calm and collective, no hurry or panic and they still ran their set plays. That's what wisky does.
When penn st made their run just count the number of 3's we took. It reminded me of wojo during a timeout when Marquette played butler. He said butler is trying to win the game on the defensive end, we are hoping to win with jump shots. They lost luckily we won. Definitely not pretty we hoped to win by a jump shot and did

For the people who are so certain an extension is coming this spring: why didn't it happen last year? The timing would have been perfect: a second Big Ten title in four years, a triumphant turnaround after a disastrous start, winning without one of the top scorers…yet no extension, and Glass was perfectly fine with sending Crean into the offseason to recruit players who were told by other coaches that Crean was not under contract for their senior season. Now, with our tournament fate very much in limbo, almost certain regression from a year ago, and very little recruiting momentum, Glass is going to be ok with that? Let it play out.

Every IU fan should be asking the same question, and Fred Glass should, too.  We played passively for the last 10 minutes.  Allowed them to come back from a 13 point deficit to tie it.   When we're up 2 and need a bucket or at least an opportunity from the foul line, we stand around for 27 seconds, and then give it to our 6'11" kid (who already had 4 TO's) 30 feet from the rim.  Seriously; what idiot draws that up?  

We have nothing to fall back on if the secondary break isn't there.   We have no clue how to move without the ball or screen effectively.  This has been a consistent problem for 9 seasons.  Crean hasn't changed and hasn't learned a damned thing.  This brand of basketball is embarrassing.  17 turnovers?  Really?  You're a team that's guard heavy and you get just 15 FT's and make just 9?  And late in the game, you allow a freshman to get the ball....twice?    When we had a real coach, our best FT shooters got the ball in that situation.  Always.  No exceptions.  IU almost never had more TO's than assists, and now we almost always do.   Crean's brand of basketball is slop.   This man makes $3.5 million to play a very elementary brand of basketball that requires almost no thought once a game plan is installed.  What great adjustments does he make?  Is he difficult to prepare for?   Good road win.  Yahoo.  But if people can't see his shortcomings, I have no idea what to say. 

Oh, and our starting point guard had 0 assists, took one shot, and had 4 fouls in 18 minutes.  I love how Crean develops players.  Um....

Naw- just insulate yourself with like minded people that give you a bunch of likes. That probably makes the misery of your IU fandom appear to have a silver lining.

If you didn't want to see posts about firing Tom Crean, why would you venture into a thread that is literally titled Fire Tom Crean?

Wouldn't your request for people to stop the "Fire Crean BS", mean you would to surround yourself by like-minded people?
