A search committee/firm routinely would reach out to multiple places to gauge interest, and then narrow it down from there with an established order of preference among the candidates that express interest. He's been coaching since 91 and has only been to 3 Sweet 16s. High school kids have no idea who he is and even their parents might not know. He played in the 80s.
