Pastner does a really good job recruiting at Memphis imagine if he could do it at a blue blood I'm not saying he's our answer I'm just saying I'd rather have him than crean at this point

That fails to address the issue.  The players are trying.  It's not effort that we lack, it's basic team defense...they are trying to do what they are being instructed to do, and the result is utter failure.  One guy needs to be benched, and he's not a player.

I'm old and my hearing isn't as good as it once was, but did anyone else by chance hear the breaking of a camel's back in the latter stages of the game?  I just can't picture this team making anything productive out of this season or making anything much more than a whimper in any kind of post-season tournament be it B1G, NCAA or NIT.  The product we saw in Maui and again last night is what we have to look forward to for the remainder of this season.   It simply isn't going to get any better under CTC.  It's the same old, same old.

Their effort seems to be lacking too. Rebounding and blocking out requires effort we don't do that. I think the players have lost faith it their leaders. No more buy in.
