Pagoda Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Pretty cool. Can’t wait to see his 40 time, but he won’t run until IU’s pro day (needs time to train since the season went so long). Class of '66 Old Fart, Stuhoo, BannerVille and 2 others 5 Quote

Somebody on the broadcast talked about Ponds staying on the outside and pulled a Jason Verrett comp. That’s a hell of a pull. They’re basically the same guy and Verrett was tremendous until the injuries hit. Stuhoo 1 Quote

Demo Posted February 28 Posted February 28 The Cooper/Stefon Diggs comp the NFL Network just put up on screen needed to include an asterisk noting that Cooper isn’t, ya know, evil. Stuhoo and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote

I would have been surprised two weeks ago if Ponds fell out of the second round. He’s been consistently mocked in the top 50 picks…think it’s only going to go up. And I’m sure he’s interviewed really well and they’re gonna watch his film and he doesn’t back down from anyone ever and he never takes a single play off. Players don’t get more winning than that kid. Firmly established as my favorite IUFB player. cybergates 1 Quote

There’s a million of them. It continues to be kind of incomprehensible what’s gone on here. Stuhoo, cthomas, BannerVille and 2 others 5 Quote

For being pegged as a strong-bodied YAC guy in the league, his 2nd run of 4.43 is absolutely noteworthy. If he doesn’t go in the 1st round I’ll be pretty surprised at this point. When he runs 4.3 (or dare I say better) in April that might go even higher. Quote

BtownStrength Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Coop is showing out for sure. The only thing that MAYBE keeps him out of round 1 is the insane depth of talent at WR this year. I could see as many as 6 WR in round 1 (probably unlikely, but certainly possible). Quote
