Their Louisville win looks even better now after UL beat SMU, and Trinidad was amazing vs LSU. Wins over #10 and #16 is the best resume in college football right now… just my opinion I think they earned the jump in rankings.

Five years ago, we snuck out of WKU with a 33-31 win. We didn't win another game after that. We just beat WKU 38-0, out-gained them by over 300 yards, had no turnovers and only two penalties, and it's getting labeled as an "uneven" or sloppy performance. Crazy world we now find ourselves in.

They are permanently changing the name of that cesspool in West Lafayette to “Pur_ue.” (no D) They are at UCLA and making the Howard U defense look like a comparative powerhouse.

We are now standing at 30 wins and 2 losses in the Curt Cignetti era.

We were favored by 40. We won by 38 while playing our backups and running out the clock in the fourth quarter. Against CUSA team that gets good every year. Every game is not going to be a video game style ridiculous blowout. Yeesh.

It would appear that the coaching staff has always experimented with these games. I kind of got the feeling yesterday we were intentionally not taking deep shots. Yes. And there’s no one obvious on their schedule that stands in their way of walking in there at 12-0. They’ve got 2 reasonably tough ones left @UNLV and @New Mexico, but both are winnable.
