Results are results. May won that game and went to Final 4. Woody won that game and another game against Illinois to barely make the tourney as the second to last team in and got blasted in the first round by St Mary’s

What many people, especially Woodson’s true fans, don’t understand is winning is the result of a process. It’s why a guy like Sig can go from place to place and win — just move the process from one location to another. Woodson doesn’t have a process — recruiting is hap hazard at best, training (cliff marshal) is the same as the last guy, offense/defense schemes are weak, player development is hit or miss, etc. If sound processes were in place, the single season results wouldn’t matter - you could overlook the down year as he reloads. Wins would take care of themselves.

Woodson should have to walk back to Bloomington. This is so bad in so many ways. How many times are we gonna allow these kinds of losses on the road? It’s not gonna get any easier. We’ve literally had the easier big ten schedule so far, but here forward we are in a lot of trouble. This is prime example of why a guy like Woodson will never excel at Indiana. This Iowa team can play, but they aren’t Auburn or Tennessee. This is straight up embarrassing. I thought about buying tickets to the game and driving down for the Maryland game. Nope not now. I can’t even get excited for these games anymore, I just watched Iowa get 3 offensive rebounds and dribble around like they were in practice with no opponent and I didn’t even get upset once. Why? Because it’s so expected now. I hate this era of IU basketball so much

In the past I would have agreed, but this one was different than most of the other bad losses in that in this one they straight up quit. Watching Reneau giggling on the bench down double digits, and I’m not busting him specifically, was emblematic of where this team is. I think the best you can say is they’re tuning him out.

I'm 37, been an IU fan my whole life. For the first time ever, I don't give a !?$@ about this program. I want to say some very harsh things about the administration, the head coach, and the players at this point(I'm a firm believer in the mentality of one RMK and if it were me in that coaching seat we wouldn't be in this position and if the team ever played like that I'd be lighting a volcano under their a$$e$) and I simply can't watch this team. It actually makes my blood boil. I've cracked a lot of jokes about it but this game tonight was flat out embarrassing on multiple levels and it's disgusting that we're even in this position. Until Woodson is gone and the people in charge pull their heads from where the sun doesn't shine this program will not be respected by the CBB community at large. We are a far cry from the rich storied history that IU basketball used to and should represent. I hate all of this...

I still habitually watch because I was at IU during the “glory days” and then watched great teams with my buddies after graduation. Kudos to those of you 35 and under as I have no idea as to how you can be so tied into the basketball program. This sh!te has gotten so old…..(but I’ll watch the next game, LOL).

Including tonight: Since the beginning of last year we’ve played 36 power conference games. We’ve lost by 15+ in 12 of those games. Disasterclass.
